Dr. Pierre Bouhanna is, in Paris, an exclusive hair dermatologic surgeon, ex-expert in dermatology for the French ministry of health, consultant at the Paris hospital St Louis (Sabouraud), director of the Paris University Diploma for scalp pathology and surgery, member and teacher in the training committee of the ISHRS. He has invented and published the phototrichogram, the multifactorial classification, the follicular unit long hair micrograft (FUL). Through the publications of 11 books and more than 140 articles in both French and foreign languages, he has also developed the specific transplantation for Africans and Asians and for the eyebrows, the beard, the post-radiotherapy alopecia and the newest hair growth research.

In 2015, during the international congress of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) he received the prestigious 2015 ISHRS Platinum Award for all his works publications and books done about hair transplant and hair investigations.
